Matthew serves as managing director and senior advisor for SVN | Smith Group Commercial Real Estate specializing in the sale of land and commercial real estate in the Athens, Georgia area. Since entering the real estate business in 2009, Matthew has worked for Oconee Properties, a family business started by his father in 1990 serving Athens and surrounding areas. Matthew and his father started SVN | Smith Group Commercial Real Estate in 2018 to better serve their clients by exposing properties to markets across the US and throughout the world. In 2008, Matthew graduated from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business where he majored in Real Estate. Matthew achieved his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 2018, Commercial Real Estate's most valuable designation. In addition to his real estate business, Matthew serves on the board of Madison Presbyterian Church, as well as the board of Prevent Child Abuse Athens, is a member of the Athens Area Association of Realtors, and was selected as a participant in the 2017-2018 Leadership Oconee Program.

Jesse Patrick serves as a real estate advisor for SVN | Smith Group Commercial Real Estate specializing in the sale of farmland, timberland, recreational and investment land. Jesse is a graduate of the University of Georgia College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. He had the privilege of growing up on a family farm, which taught him the value of hard work and dedication. He brings the same work ethic to the clients he serves. Jesse, his wife, and two daughters reside in Morgan County. Jesse is the president of the Putnam County Farm Bureau, committee member for the Madison First United Methodist Church, member of the Baldwin, Jones, Putnam Cattleman’s Association, and member of the Athens Area Association of Realtors.
